How Do I Identify My GoJak® Model?

Identify your GoJak® model by its frame, casters, rollers, and handle configuration.

Over the last 40+ years, Zendex Tool Corp. has manufactured numerous GoJak® models. After years of service the original identification labels or decals can become worn, damaged, or missing. Fortunately, you can still identify most GoJak models by examining a few key design features.

Correct model and vintage identification is important for:

  • Ordering the correct OEM replacement parts
  • Confirming load capacity
  • Ensuring safe operation

Important: Genuine GoJak® wheel dollies are manufactured in our signature fuschia color. If your dolly is a different color, verify that it is an authentic GoJak product before ordering replacement parts.

 What You'll Need

  • Tape measure or calipers
  • Good lighting
  • Access to both sides of the GoJak

Quick Identification Guide

Check What to Look For
  Caster Forks Black or Silver Zinc?
Caster Size 3", 4", or 5"?  Same size or mixed sizes?
Caster Bearing Seal Color Violet or black bearing seal ring?
Roller Design

Steel or PVC?

If Steel, Single 2.875" OD or Double 1" OD?
Axles

Flat Bar 1-1/2 Wide? 

     - 1/2" or 3/4" Thick?

Wider than 1-1/2"

     - Rectangular or Trapezoid Shape
Foot Pedal

Material: Cast Aluminum or Steel?

Does it have a Yellow Cam Lever?

Step 1 — Examine the Casters

Caster design is one of the quickest ways to identify a GoJak.

Current Pro Series (G5211 • G5211L • G6313 • G6313L) and Performance Series (G4520 • G6520) models use zinc plated casters with fuschia bearing seal rings. 

Measure the caster wheel diameter using a tape measure or calipers. Combined with the frame style, this measurement quickly narrows the possible models.

Step 2 — Identify the 6000 SeriesG6000 • G6200 • G6313

Look for:

  • Two different caster sizes on the same unit
  • One larger caster
  • One smaller caster

This mixed-caster configuration is one of the easiest ways to identify these higher-capacity models.

G5000 • G5200 • G5211

Look for:

  • Four casters that are all the same size
  • A frame that closely resembles the 6000 Series

If the frame matches the 6000 Series but all four casters are identical, you likely have a 5000 Series GoJak.

Step 3 — Identify the 4000 SeriesG4000 • G4500 • G4520

Look for:

  • Thin axles
  • Double-roller lifting mechanism
  • Four casters of the same size

The combination of thin axles and double rollers is the easiest way to identify these models.

Step 4 — Identify Heavy-Duty ModelsG7016

  • Black caster forks
  • Standard operating handle
  • Same wheel color as the G9516

G9516

Look for two distinctive features:

  • Silver caster forks
  • Two-speed operating handle

These are the quickest visual indicators that you have a G9516.
