Why is my RakJak not holding air?

If a RakJak™ is not holding air or maintaining its lift, there may be an air leak within the system. The cause can range from a loose or damaged air fitting to wear or damage to an internal component such as O-rings.

Why:
RakJak operates using compressed air, so the air system must remain properly sealed to maintain pressure. Air loss may be caused by several factors, including a loose fitting, damaged air line, leaking valve, worn seal, or damage to the air bag. Dirt or debris around a valve or sealing surface may also prevent the system from sealing correctly.

What should be checked?
Inspect the air fitting and connections for looseness or visible damage. Listen for escaping air and inspect the air bag for signs of wear, punctures, or damage. If the source of the leak cannot be identified, contact Zendex Tool support for assistance before continuing to use the RakJak. 

Safety Note:
Never work under a vehicle supported only by a RakJak. Once the vehicle is raised, always use properly rated support equipment according to the product instructions.
